“Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Psalms 100 KJV

The music and singing in a New Testament Church speaks volumes as to the true spirituality of that ministry. Music and singing ought to be for the purpose of bringing pleasure to God.

In many churches the music and singing are specifically designed to bring pleasure to the soul and flesh only and closely resemble that of a rock concert hosted by the original song leader of Heaven….Satan! Ezekiel 28:13-15 in the King James Bible shines much light on the problems created because of the music ministries in many churches.

The Scriptures provide the thinking believer with insight into the purpose for which Lucifer, the anointed cherub, was first created. “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”

When Satan fell, he took with him his perverted style and philosophy of music and designed a demonic plan to market and deliver that kind of so-called “praise and worship,” to worldly and carnal “…ministers…” of music in apostate churches.

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” II Corinthians 11:14-15 KJV

Our music is designed to please God and to bring His presence into our old-fashioned church services: so that we can be drawn to Him, not to the music!
